- All people living in households, who were usually resident in the area at the time of the 2001 Census, whose Household Reference Person's socio-economic classification was coded as 'Higher managerial and professional occupations'.The National Statistics Socio-economic Classification (NS-SeC) was introduced by the Government to replace Social Class based on Occupation (also known as the Registrar General's Social Class) and Socio-Economic Groups (SEG).
