Members are invited to declare any interests, and the nature thereof, when the relevant item is considered by the Panel.

TO RECEIVE any representations from the public to speak on nay items on the agenda for which notice has been given to the Chief Executive (Democratic Services) by 12.30pm on Friday 4 September 2009, the working day before the meeting.

TO RECEIVE a presentation from Rachel Holliday, Deputy Chief Executive of the Porchlight charity.

TO CONFIRM as a true record the minutes of the meeting of the Panel held on 13 July 2009.

Updates on the actions from the previous meeting are attached to the Agenda.

TO RECEIVE updates at the meeting on the present position regarding the following

(a)               the trial terms of reference for Area Member Panels (the tracked changes as previously suggested are shown in the attachment);

(b)               the election of Vice-Chairman of the Panel for the year 2009/2010.

TO REVIEW the List and consider whether the Panel should be consulted on any of the key decisions.

TO CONSIDER the report of the Head of Environment and Street Scene.

TO DISCUSS at the request of Councillor Eden-Green.

The Head of Environment and Street Scene has advised that a Traffic Regulation Order Public Inquiry is to be held on 8 September 2009 in the Guildhall to consider objections to the Market being moved to the Iron Bar Lane service area for the additional day of Friday each week. Depending on the outcome from the Inspector in about 2 months time the move to the new location could commence in the spring next year.

The advice of the Head of Environment and Street Scene regarding the present work being undertaken for the removal of graffiti at the subway is attached to the Agenda.
