Market Move and redevelopment
TO DISCUSS at the request of Councillor Eden-Green.
The Head of Environment and Street Scene has advised that a Traffic Regulation Order Public Inquiry is to be held on 8 September 2009 in the Guildhall to consider objections to the Market being moved to the Iron Bar Lane service area for the additional day of Friday each week. Depending on the outcome from the Inspector in about 2 months time the move to the new location could commence in the spring next year.

The advice of the Head of Environment and Street Scene regarding the present work being undertaken for the removal of graffiti at the subway is attached to the Agenda.
