MEMBERS AND DLCS UPDATE
a) An open item for Members of SACRE to report any items of RE interest from their schools or communities, or raise any queries or issues of concern which might be useful for RE teachers or for the Syllabus review. To include:
· Baha’i request to discuss the circulation of Baha’i resources to schools
· Gerald Cohen
b) Update from the Directorate of Learning and Children’s Services on local or national RE, PSHE/ SMSC and Citizenship developments.
To consider a summary of Section 5 Ofsted reports in relation to Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural Development.
To consider the draft Notes of the meeting of the Kingston Inter Faith Forum on 5 November 2008.

· Annual lecture – date to be arranged – SACRE members are requested to bring with them to the meeting their 2009 diaries to identify several dates in mid June to mid July (Tuesday to Thursday) for the lecturer, Denise Chaplin, to choose one.
