Welcome, Apologies and Changes Of Membership
To receive any apologies and changes in panel membership if required.
Statement from the Chair
Members are invited to declare any prior participation or conflict of interest in relation to items on the agenda.
In addition, members are asked to complete the “Notification of Personal Interests” form, attached.
To approve and sign as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held on 14 June 2010, attached.
Membership of SACRE
To receive a presentation from the Chair outlining the current membership of the SACRE, list attached.
To discuss various issues relating to the committee’s terms of reference and the SACRE’s membership, including:
- Code of Conduct
- Updating information regarding appointment to SACRE (4 years)
A discussion will take place in relation to the grouping and voting rights of Humanism within SACRE followed by a formal vote.
Feedback From Events From Individual Faith Groups
To receive verbal updates from various members of the SACRE regarding feedback from events from individual faith groups.
NOTE: It is requested that members contact the Clerk to the SACRE in advance of the meeting if any additional documentation is required that will support their feedback that they wish to raise under this item.
Initial findings of the Audit of RE Teaching in Secondary Schools
To receive a verbal update from Sian Roberts, Advanced Skills Teacher (AST) regarding initial findings of the audit of RE teaching in secondary schools in capacity of AST.

To note the dates for future SACRE meetings as follows:
