Constitution of the SACRE
The Deputy Leader of the Council has recently appointed Mr Francis Williams to serve on the SACRE as a representative of the Authority, following the resignation of County Councillor Keith Iddon. For members' clarification, the Deputy Leader of the Council makes appointments to the group on the SACRE representing the Authority, and all other appointments are currently approved by the Cabinet Member for Children and Schools.
Getting to Know You
Jonathan Hewitt, Head of Quality and Continuous Improvement, Directorate for Children and Young People, will give a brief talk about himself and his role regarding the SACRE.

Members are asked to review the format of SACRE meetings. The current meeting format is based on the recommendations of the Quality and Standards Sub-group made at the meeting of 24 April 2008 and as subsequently approved by the SACRE on 12 May 2008. Extract from QSS minutes of 24 April 2008 attached at Item 10.
