Members are reminded of the need to consider whether they have a personal or prejudicial interest to declare in any of the items on this agenda.  If so, the nature of the interest must be declared at the start or as soon as the interest becomes apparent, of the meeting.  In addition, the attached form must be completed and passed to the Committee Administrator.  The Officers will be pleased to advise, if necessary, and any request for assistance should be made, in the first instance, to the Committee Administrator whose name appears at the end of this agenda.  Ideally, such advice should be sought before the day of the meeting so that time is available to consider any uncertainty that might arise.

To consider planning applications for:

i)          the erection of extension of the existing Sainsbury's foodstore with associated amendments to car parking, access, service yard, landscaping and creation of new colleague car park at Sainsbury's Stores PLC, Falsgrave Road, Scarborough, for Sainsbury's Supermarkets Limited (10/02538/FL) View Plans and Documents (10/02538/FL);

ii)                  the erection of a Tesco (Class A1 retail) store with car parking, petrol filling station, landscaping and associated works and change of use of former prison complex to suitable alternative uses (B1, D1 and D2) at Former St. Mary's and Dean Road Depot, Dean Road, Scarborough, for Tesco Stores Limited and Assura Properties Limited (11/00019/FL); and

View Plans and Documents (11/00019/FL);

iii)        a combined report by the Head of Regeneration and Planning (Reference 11/567) attached.

To consider:

i)          Listed Building applications for demolition of buildings/structures attached to or within grounds of the Grade II Listed Gatehouse and former Gaol View Plans and Documents (11/00030/LB) and external repairs to the Grade II Listed Gaol and Gatehouse, for Tesco Stores Limited View Plans and Documents (11/00163/LB) ; and

ii)         a report by the Head of Regeneration and Planning (Reference 11/568) attached.
