This follows concerns raised by Bus Operators at the significant delays and safety concerns caused by on-street parking in the area. The proposals include the introduction of “At Any Time” waiting restrictions at three locations – the junction of Southwood Drive with Knollmead, Southwood Drive and Tolworth Rise South and a section of Barnsbury Lane between its junctions with Meadway and Firdene. One objection was received against the proposed “At any time” waiting restrictions on Barnsbury Lane between its junctions with Meadway and Firdene. This report considers the objection and makes recommendations on the way forward. RESOLVED that: 1. The objection be set aside for the reasons detailed in paragraph 4 of this report and the Traffic Management Order (TMO) process be implemented; 2. The objector is informed of the Committee’s decision and the reasons for it.
