Consideration was given to a report which\ndetailed proposed operational changes in the way Certificates of\nLawfulness are processed, together with the corresponding revisions\nwhich would need to be made to the Scheme of Delegation as a\nresult.

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 that,\nwith effect from 1st May 2009, the revised procedure for the\nreceipt, processing and determination of applications for\nCertificates of Lawfulness by the Development Control Section\nwithin Planning and Environment Services be noted; and

\n

(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 that\nthe necessary amendments made to the Scheme of Delegation to\ndelegate authority to the Head of Planning and Environment Services\nto determine applications for both Certificates of Lawfulness for\nExisting Use or Development and for Certificates of Lawfulness for\nProposed Use or Development be approved.
