The Committee considered the above case of arrears as the introductory tenant had requested a Right to Review following the service of Notice of Proceedings.
One of the introductory tenants attended the meeting and made representations in support of their case.
The Head of Housing reported upon the details of the case.
The introductory tenant and the Officer presenting the case withdrew from the meeting whilst the Committee discussed the options available and reached a decision based on the information presented at the meeting.
RESOLVED – That the introductory tenant be given one final opportunity to pay £30 on 3 June followed by the current charge plus £20 each fortnight off the arrears, but on the first default the Head of Housing and the Head of Legal and Democratic Services be authorised to apply to Court for Possession of the property.
