    <summary>A cyclist has been seriously injured following a collision with a car on the B3335. Shortly before 5pm on Friday, March 11, a green Ford Focus car was travelling in a north easterly direction along the B3335 Highbridge Road when it was in collision with a pedal cyclist. The Focus was being driven by a 25-year-old from Eastleigh. He was not injured. The cyclist, a 22-year-old man from Eastleigh, sustained serious, life-threatening injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment. He remains in a serious condition in hospital. Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information is asked to contact PC Andy Hill, at Whitchurch Roads Policing Unit, quoting Operation Achilles, on 101.     <summary>A free bus service starts in Eastleigh on Monday 22nd November. A new bus company &#226;&#8364;&#8220; Xelabus &#226;&#8364;&#8220; has joined forces with Tesco at Eastleigh to offer free services into town for the Christmas period which will run through Allbrook, Bishopstoke, Boyatt Wood and the Bird Aviary estate. The service will run on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays until December 31st. All services will start and end at Tesco but will also call at the Bus station so you could use it shop at Sainsbury as well! Xelabus is the brainchild of company boss and Colden Common resident Gareth Blair, whose fleet of four buses operate from premises on the Chandlers Ford Industrial Estate. The company colours are exactly the same nostalgic shade of Green as used by the old &#226;&#8364;&#339;Pants &amp;#38; Corset&#226;&#8364;* bus company (also known as Hants &amp;#38; Dorset by outsiders). Xelabus will also be providing a special bus for the Christmas Light switching on ceremony in Eastleigh this Saturday.
