Local bands are lining up in Eastleigh this weekend to help do something about global poverty and suffering. The musicians will performing at the Pavilion on the Park at Fleming Park as part of Oxjam – an annual music festival in aid of the charity Oxfam. The one day festival will run this Saturday, October 15 from 2pm – 10pm (gates open 1.30) and will feature two stages. It will be one of hundreds of events around the UK all through October, all organised by volunteers who know and love their local music scene, all raising money to save lives around the world. Tickets are £5 adult and £3 child (under 10) in advance and on the gate they will be £8p adult and £5 child.
