A new exhibition which mixes art and nature will start this weekend at a city museum. The exhibition, Minerals Make Mountains, illustrates the various stages of the cycle that turns rocks into the minerals that make mountains. It uses the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery’s permanent collections. Visitors can find out how the constantly moving Earth forms the landscapes that we see today and uses examples of landscapes to illustrate the phases of the rock cycle.
