- Frome Berkley Down beat lies to the east of Frome town, with the A361 forming its eastern boundary. The beat, together with Frome Fromefield beat, is a mainly urban residential area which includes Frome Community College, Frome Sports Centre and Frome football, rugby and cricket clubs. There are eight strong Neighbourhood Watch schemes on the beat, in Churchward Drive, Clink Road, Ludlow Close, Trevithick Close, Willow Vale, Woodhayes Road, Wyville Road and Styles Hill. The beat includes one school, Hayesdown First School on Wyville Road. Farleigh Further Education College, a specialist residential college for learners aged 16 to 19 with Asperger's syndrome, also falls under the Berkley Down beat. There is also sheltered accommodation in Roddenbury Close, shops on St John's Road and Berkley Road and park areas on St John's Road, Bramley Drive and off Brunel Way. The Vine Tree pub stands on the crossroads of Berkley Road and Rodden Road. The beat also includes the open areas of Willow Vale and Millennium Gardens.
